Terms & Conditions
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the Crucible Freediving website and any enquiry you submit. By using the site you accept them.
2. Enquiries are not bookings
Submitting the enquiry form starts a conversation — it is not a confirmed booking or a contract. Course dates, availability, prerequisites and pricing are confirmed by us separately in writing before any booking is finalised.
3. Pricing
Any prices we quote are indicative and may change until a booking is confirmed. Prices, where shown, are quoted in South African Rand and [state whether VAT-inclusive/exclusive].
4. Freediving carries risk
Freediving and breath-hold activities carry inherent risks. Participation requires that you are in suitable health and medically fit; we may require a medical questionnaire or clearance and the signing of a separate participation waiver and indemnity before any in-water activity. You must follow all safety instructions from our instructors.
5. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, and except for liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, Crucible Freediving is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence to the extent the law does not allow such exclusion. [Confirm exact liability wording with your attorney and align it with your signed waiver.]
6. Intellectual property
The content, branding, photography and video on this site are owned by Crucible Freediving or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
